Discovery Class

The Discovery Class is a traditional Sunday morning setting where church goers come to enrich themselves with Bible and faith studies. The emphasis is on presentations designed to reach all members. Music and timely secular and religious issues are also an important part of this class. The backbone of the session is a very open time in which all are encouraged to share the needs and praise of their own families, plus any other needs that are known. Class members strongly support each other through both prayer and deed.

Upcoming Study (starts Sept. 11): “Creed,” by Adam HamiltonThis is a detailed look at the Apostle’s Creed, which we have recently re-introduced into our worship service. Rev. Hamilton is the senior pastor of the Church of the Resurrection, a mega church in Leawood, Kansas nearby to Kansas City. The course involves a DVD presentation by Rev. Hamilton, a book and some inspired discussion on what is one of the pillars of our faith.(6-week study)
